Rock crushers at the mining site needed to be upgraded with new platforms which were in accordance with EN 14122 and client needs. The old construction was partially disassembled and a new one was designed where construction consisted of new columns, stairs, platforms, walkways, and railings.
Overview
Different types of slabs were used to cover new platforms and new fixings for walkways were designed as well as stress analysis was made, to ensure that everything is safe to use. We used point clouds to ensure that new constructions were compatible with the rest of equipment.
