Due to the establishment of a new coal handling terminal in Riga, there was a need for specific equipment. During the project, two mobile belt conveyors and a magnetic frame station were designed. A special movable frame was placed above the main material conveyor, where a special metal magnet was hung to prevent the metal from entering the coal fraction.
Overview
In this process the material is initially loaded into large receiving hoppers, after which the material gets on the belt conveyor. Then the material is directed to a shredder to obtain an equal fraction, and with a radial belt conveyor, piles of material are formed that are ready to be loaded on board of the ship.
