  • Connection principles per EN 1993-1-8; weld quality to ISO 5817

  • Linear static as default; in addition, non-linear contact or geometric non-linearity when needed

  • Mesh convergence checks; boundary conditions reflect actual supports

  • Hand calculations for sanity checks; results reported against acceptance criteria

Inputs we need
Duty (loads, cycles, temperature), interfaces and constraints, allowable deflections, as-built/site data, material specs, preferred safety factors and house standards.

Deliverables

  • Calculation notes or concise report (PDF): inputs, model assumptions, results and pass/fail

  • Result plots (stress/strain/deflection, factors of safety), critical sections and reactions

  • Design recommendations (thicknesses, stiffeners, weld sizes, bolt classes)

  • References to drawing/model items for unambiguous implementation. Therefore, vendors can fabricate with confidence.

We do not provide civil/foundation certification, notified body sign-off or pressure-vessel code packages. However, we coordinate with your specialists and incorporate their constraints into the mechanical design.
