A major cardboard and paper production facility in Sweden required a complete renewal of its flight conveyor system after years of operation had caused excessive wear and structural breakdown. Since the conveyor played a critical role in transporting materials within the paper manufacturing process, its failure posed risks to efficiency, safety, and production continuity.
To maximize cost-efficiency and sustainability, SketchArt Engineering based the new conveyor design on the existing structural framework, allowing for the reuse of key components still in good condition. This approach reduced material waste while ensuring reliability. The components retained included the drive gear with shaft, gearbox, tension gear with axle, bearings, and the scraper chain.
