The grain handling terminal underwent a comprehensive reconstruction to enhance its efficiency and capacity, requiring the design of advanced equipment tailored to its unique operational needs. The terminal features two distinct transshipment points—one dedicated to receiving grain via trucks and the other via trains—ensuring seamless handling of large volumes of grain.
Overview
The redesigned terminal includes a wide array of components essential for efficient grain handling. This complex system features two elevators, sixteen specialized chain conveyors, grain receiving pits, and electrically operated shutters. To manage grain flow effectively, symmetrical and asymmetrical electrically operated valves were installed, along with grain flow brake connections. Additionally, pipes and custom pipe transitions were engineered to ensure smooth and controlled grain movement throughout the terminal.
By integrating these elements, the reconstructed terminal offers improved performance, reliability, and the capacity to handle diverse grain transportation methods with ease.
