At the Swedish mining plant, one of the key crushers showed significant wear on its internal wear plates after long-term operation under heavy-duty conditions. The plates had reached a level where efficiency and safety were compromised, making refurbishment unavoidable to ensure continued production reliability.
The project required complete removal of the old plates and careful preparation of the crusher’s internal structure for installation of the replacements. New wear plates were designed and manufactured from high-strength steel with improved durability to withstand abrasive rock material. Precision in design and alignment was essential, as even small deviations could reduce crusher performance or shorten component lifespan.
