The rock crusher at the site required critical refurbishment due to the extensive wear and tear of its internal protection plates, which had been subjected to extreme operating conditions. To restore the crusher’s functionality and extend its lifespan, the worn-out wear plates were replaced with new, durable components specifically designed to handle the demands of challenging environments.

To ensure the refurbishment process was accurate, a detailed 3D scan of the crusher was conducted. The resulting point cloud data was instrumental in creating a precise 3D hull model of the device. This model enabled the seamless design and integration of the replacement protection plates, ensuring they fit perfectly and provided optimal performance.
