With the expansion of a steel-related mining company, the need for a specialized coke conveyor became essential. Coke, a critical industrial product used primarily in iron ore smelting and as a clean-burning fuel, required careful handling to meet operational and safety standards. SketchArt Engineering took on the task of designing a conveyor system tailored to the unique demands of this project, ensuring both functionality and compliance with modern safety requirements.
Overview
The conveyor design originated from a single sketch, which outlined only the main dimensions. From this foundation, a fully functional system was developed, incorporating safety nets and protective cover plates for all rotating components to ensure compliance with ISO 13857. The design was meticulously adapted to the existing environment, providing seamless integration.
To enhance operational safety and efficiency, the conveyor was equipped with a range of sensors, enabling automated monitoring of working conditions and real-time acquisition of operational data. This comprehensive approach ensured not only safe working conditions but also improved productivity and operational control for the client.
