With the expansion of a steel-related mining company, the demand for a specialized conveyor system for handling coke became a priority. Coke, a vital industrial product used in iron ore smelting and as a clean-burning fuel, requires careful handling to meet both safety and operational standards. To address this, SketchArt Engineering was tasked with developing a conveyor solution specifically tailored to the plant’s needs, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with international safety requirements.

The design process began with only a basic sketch outlining the primary dimensions. From this limited starting point, our engineers created a fully functional system that incorporated advanced safety features, including nets and protective cover plates for all rotating components. These measures were implemented in strict compliance with ISO 13857, ensuring the protection of workers while maintaining smooth material flow. The conveyor was seamlessly adapted to the existing plant infrastructure, minimizing installation downtime and allowing for uninterrupted production.

To further enhance operational efficiency and safety, the conveyor was equipped with a range of intelligent sensors. These devices enable continuous automated monitoring of working conditions and provide real-time operational data to plant operators. The integration of smart technology not only increases productivity but also strengthens the plant’s ability to maintain strict process control and respond rapidly to changing operational demands.
