As part of a comprehensive reconstruction project at the port, several key areas required significant upgrades to enhance both functionality and accessibility. These included the pier, pedestrian road, waiting room, driveway, and surrounding facilities. Among the most critical elements was the development of an emergency stair tower for pedestrians, ensuring a reliable and safe connection between the ferry and the passenger waiting area. The project was initiated with the clear objective of improving passenger flow, safety, and overall user experience.
SketchArt Engineering was responsible for the complete design of the stair tower. The structure was carefully planned to meet modern safety standards while also addressing practical concerns such as durability, accessibility, and integration with the existing port infrastructure. The tower’s design emphasized both convenience and compliance with contemporary construction regulations, allowing it to withstand the demanding operational conditions of a busy passenger terminal.
