To improve both safety and functionality, the rock crushers at a mining site required a complete upgrade with new service platforms. The project scope involved designing and installing platforms that complied with EN 14122 standards, while also meeting the client’s unique operational requirements. The task demanded precise engineering solutions that enhanced worker safety, ensured reliability, and maintained compliance with international regulations.
The initial stage of the project included a careful assessment of the existing infrastructure. Older sections of the structure were partially dismantled to allow for the installation of new columns, stairs, platforms, walkways, and protective railings. This systematic approach ensured that the site remained fully operational during construction, while safety and efficiency were continuously maintained. The new design placed strong emphasis on accessibility, enabling operators and maintenance staff to work in a secure and practical environment.
